Inner Mongolia Yuan Xing Energy (SHE:000683) expected lower soda ash production by about 3,000 tons per day due to a reduction in the load operation of the production line of subsidiary Inner Mongolia Boyuan Yingen Mining's Alashan Tamusu natural soda development and utilization project.

The reduction stemmed from the operation failure of the shared equipment in the evaporation link of the third and fourth production lines, according to a Friday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

Inner Mongolia Boyuan Yingen Mining started emergency repairs, with the full load operation expected to resume by the end of October.

Shares of the chemicals company were down 3% in recent trade.
