Opera Gaming Browser Becomes Riot Games' Browser Partner for 2024 League of Legends World Championship

Opera (OPRA) said Monday its gaming browser Opera GX has collaborated with Riot Games to be the latter's selected browser partner for the 2024 League of Legends World Championship.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Opera GX will offer access to a co-streamer hub, Worlds Unlocked digital drops for Opera GX clients, and tailored browser mods for League of Legends players and fans, the company added.

The hub will bring together all co-streaming options and let users filter streams by language, Opera said.

The co-streaming hub, drops, and other content will be rolled out by Opera GX on Sept. 25.

Shares of the company were up 1.5% in recent Monday trading.
