诺福克南方铁路公司周三宣布，董事会决定立即解除CEO艾伦·肖（Alan Shaw）的职务，由首席财务官马克·乔治（Mark George）接替，因调查发现肖与公司首席法律顾问纳巴妮塔·纳格（Nabanita Nag）有一段双方自愿的关系。
该公司表示，根据董事会的初步调查，纳格也将被解雇。
乔治在新闻发布会上说：“我很荣幸能担任这个职位，领导诺福克南方铁路公司。”
乔治担任诺福克南方铁路公司的首席财务官近五年，此前他曾在奥的斯电梯和联合技术公司担任高级财务职务20年。
“董事会完全相信马克，相信他有能力继续履行我们对股东和其他利益相关者的承诺，”诺福克南方铁路公司董事长克劳德·蒙格（Claude Mongeau）在声明中表示。
该公司还宣布詹森·赞皮（Jason Zampi）将担任临时首席财务官。与此同时，杰森·莫里斯（Jason Morris）将担任临时公司秘书。
