0801 GMT - The debut of IG Group's new Chief Executive, Breon Corcoran, who joined the online-trading company at the end of January, has been impressive, RBC Europe analysts Ben Bathurst and Jude Neanor say. Corcoran has conveyed conviction over the growth potential for the group, including for over-the-counter business, or trade that isn't made on a formal exchange, which the analysts say wasn't emphasized enough under his predecessor. The U.S. presidential elections in November and geopolitical uncertainty could offer opportunities for increasing the top line, they write in a research note. There's scope for Corcoran to boost its valuation, which is undemanding, they add. Shares were up 1% at 9.70 pounds in early morning trade. (cristina.gallardo@wsj.com)
