Ispace Appoints Lunar Advisory Board to Drive Space Economy Development
Ispace (TYO:9348), a lunar exploration company, has formed its Lunar Advisory Board to accelerate the development of the space economy, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The board includes space industry leaders such as Jean-Jacques Dordain, former Director General of the European Space Agency (ESA), Yoshinori Komiya, former Director-General for Space Affairs at Japan's Cabinet Office, Tomoya Thomas Ochinero, former Senior Vice President at SpaceX, and Alan Stern, former NASA Associate Administrator.
The advisory board will guide ispace's operations in Japan, Luxembourg, and the US, addressing issues in business strategy, policy, and technology as ispace works towards establishing a cislunar economy.
Shares of the company were up 2% in recent trade.
