Adani Ports to Develop Berth No. 13 at Deendayal Port in India
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (NSE:ADANIPORTS, BOM:532921) has signed a concession agreement with Deendayal Port Authority to develop Berth No. 13 at the Deendayal Port, Kandla in Gujarat, India, according to a Wednesday filing to the stock exchanges.
The company has formed a new wholly-owned subsidiary called DPA Container and Clean Cargo Terminal to carry out operations at the berth, which offers 5.7 MMT capacity annually.
In July, the company received the letter of intent for the development, operation and maintenance of the berth for a 30-year concession period. It is scheduled to be commissioned in the financial year 2027.
