Staff at a CLI unit in Australia reportedly stole funds

The Australian Financial Review reported that a senior executive in Australia at a CapitaLand Investment (CLI) unit, most likely CapitaLand Ascott Trust Hmn and/ or its trustee-manager, has been allegedly accused of faking tax, insurance and legal documents, and allegedly misappropriating funds. When asked about the issue, a CapitaLand spokesperson said, "We regret that we are unable to comment due to ongoing litigation."

"The amount allegedly misappropriated is just 1% DPU," an analyst observes, referring to the A$2.7 million that was reported in the AFR.
