International Graphite (ASX:IG6) hit graphite from a four-hole drill program conducted at the Mason Bay deposit within the Springdale graphite project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program yielded up to 11 meters at 14.3% total graphitic carbon from 10.4 meters, including 3.1 meters at 26.5% total graphitic carbon from 16 meters, the miner said in the filing.
Shares of International Graphite rose past 6% in recent Wednesday trade.
