美国知名厨具品牌特百惠（Tupperware）的母公司Tupperware Brands周二正式申请破产保护，此前该公司经历了长达数年的销售下滑和日益激烈的竞争。

　　特百惠提交给法院的破产文件显示，该公司的资产在5亿至10亿美元之间，负债在10亿至100亿美元之间。该公司在另一份声明中表示，将寻求法院批准，以促进业务出售过程，并在破产程序期间继续运营。

　　这家厨具公司几十年来一直主导着食品储存领域，自2020年以来，该公司一直警告称，对公司能否继续经营下去存在疑问。今年6月，该公司计划关闭其在美国的唯一一家工厂，并裁员近150人。

　　在特拉华州申请破产之前，特百惠与其债权人就如何管理逾7亿美元的贷款进行了长达数月的谈判。债权人同意在债务上给该公司一些喘息的空间，但业务继续恶化。
