智通财经APP获悉，美国猴痘疫苗概念股Emergent BioSolutions(EBS.US)周三美股盘前一度大涨逾16%，该公司早些时候表示，其已获得约4亿美元的牛痘、天花和猴痘疫苗产品组合订单，将于2024年和2025年交付。截至发稿，该股盘初涨超8%。
这家生物技术公司表示，今年到目前为止，该公司已交付了价值近2.1亿美元的客户订单，涉及其免疫球蛋白产品CNJ-016和ACAM2000，后者是其获得FDA批准的天花和猴痘疫苗。
此外，该公司承诺在今年剩余时间和2025年交付价值超过1.85亿美元的与CNJ-016和ACAM2000相关的订单。
这一最新消息发布之际，非洲正在努力应对持续的猴痘疫情，世界卫生组织在今年8月宣布猴痘疫情构成“国际关注的突发公共卫生事件”。
首席执行官Joe Papa表示:“Emergent仍然是一个值得信赖的合作伙伴，为生物防御和全球卫生准备提供医疗对策。”
他补充道：“这些增量订单展示了我们在帮助应对天花和猴痘等严重病毒威胁方面的持续领导能力。”
