Doma Holdings (DOMA) said Friday it has completed its merger with title insurance underwriter Title Resources Group.

Doma said its Doma Title Insurance underwriting division will operate as a Title Resources Group unit, while its technology division has been renamed Doma Technology and will operate on a separately capitalized basis.

Doma Technology and Title Resources Group will operate as sister companies, Doma said.

The company said that through a subsidiary, Centerbridge Partners, Title Resources Group's largest shareholder, will be the majority owner of Doma Technology.

Doma said Hudson Structured Capital Management, which also participated in the deal, will have a "significant" stake in Doma Technology.

Doma Technology's board will be chaired by former Assurant (AIZ) Chief Executive Alan Colberg, Doma said.
