格隆汇9月26日｜切萨皮克能源和西南能源周四宣布，拟议的74亿美元合并的HSR等待期已经结束，两家公司预计将在10月的第一周完成交易。交易完成后，合并后的公司将更名为Expand Energy Corporation，股票代码“EXE”，将于交易完成后第二天开盘时在纳斯达克交易。该交易于今年1月首次宣布，切萨皮克能源当时宣布将以约74亿美元的全股票交易收购竞争对手美国西南能源，这笔交易将组建一家企业价值约240亿美元的公司，并可能成为美国最大的天然气生产商。
