10月8日晚间消息，世界经济论坛（WEF）公布最新一批“灯塔工厂”名单，GE医疗北京影像设备制造基地（以下简称“北京基地”）成功入选，成为中国医疗设备行业首座“灯塔工厂”。
GE医疗北京基地创建于1991年，是GE医疗在中国布局的首个供应链基地，也是目前GE医疗全球最大的影像设备制造基地。基于人工智能、云计算、工业物联网、5G等技术，GE医疗北京基地从端到端供应链、生产力、质量和可持续发展方面持续升级，在26条生产线上积极实施了45个数字化解决方案，实现增效、提质、降本和扩产。
GE医疗全球执行副总裁、中国总裁兼首席执行官张轶昊表示：“近年来，人工智能、大数据、云计算等技术飞速发展，与医疗领域深度结合，推动行业进入智能化创新的新阶段。数字化的本质就是赋能，GE医疗正在加速人工智能和数字化技术的部署应用，将其融入从创新研发、生产制造到绿色运营的产品全生命周期，‘灯塔工厂’是最具代表性的成果，这些成果将持续赋能GE医疗高质量产品的智能制造，赋能我们更好地服务中国和全球医患。”
