BCL Bio Energy, a subsidiary of BCPL Railway Infrastructure (BOM:542057), has begun production of crude edible oils at its solvent extraction plant of 300 tons per day (TPD), according to a filing to the stock exchanges on Monday.
The plant will extract oil like crude rice bran oil, crude mustard oil, and de-oiled cakes. It will also produce residual cake called de-oiled rice bran and deoiled mustard cake which are used as animal feed and exported from India to countries like Bangladesh, and Vietnam.
Shares of the company were up over 2% in recent trade trade.
