Zhejiang Shapuaisi Pharmaceutical (SHA:603168) secured the approval of China's State Drug Administration to conduct clinical trials for its azithromycin eye drops.
The eye drops are used for the antibaterial treatment of conjunctivitis in children and adults, according to a Friday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
Shares of the pharmaceutical company closed 3% higher Friday.
