Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) is set to start a second phase two exploration program at the Minyari Dome project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
An 11,000-meter drill program, expected to begin within the week, aims to expand mineral resources at the GEO-01 deposit and Minyari Southeast, explore new gold discoveries, and collect samples for metallurgical testing, the filing said.
Additionally, the sale of the company's share in the Citadel joint venture project to Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) for AU$17 million is expected to be completed before the end of the month, according to the filing.
Antipa Minerals shares rose 4% in recent trade.
