智通财经APP讯，生兴控股(01472)公布，2024年10月21日有一则视频媒体报导，内容有关屯门第38区填料库一名24岁工人于工作期间堕海失踪。董事会获悉，新闻主播播报该事件的同时，该报导内出现“屯门第38区临时建筑废物筛选分类设施”、“屯门38筛选”及“德宝-生兴联营”(“合营企业”)的标识，并获悉另一新闻平台有关该事件的报导正文内亦因而出现合营企业的名称。
公司谨此作出以下声明及澄清：
1. 第38区被划分为两个不同的分区，即填料库及筛选分类设施;
2. 合营企业根据土木工程拓展署授予的合同获委聘以于第38区筛选分类设施履行工程;
3. 合营企业并无涉足或承办填料库的周边工程，因其义务严格局限于第38区筛选分类设施内的工程;
4. 该不幸事件发生于第38区填料库，该填料库于所有关键时刻均被一个与合营企业或该公司完全无关的实体占用，而该事件从未发生于合营企业营运及履行其合约工程所在的筛选分类设施内;
5. 香港特别行政区政府于2024年10月21日的新闻报导进一步证实，该事件发生于第38区填料库;及
6. 公司已委聘法律顾问就上述事项提供意见，并已向相关新闻平台发出律师函，要求即刻从全平台删除该报导。
董事会现正评估该报导的影响，并将继续采取一切合理行动保护集团的声誉。如有必要，公司或会考虑对所有相关方采取法律行动以保护本集团的利益。
