Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceutical (SHA:600521) subsidiary Shanghai Huaotai Biopharmaceutical secured approval to conduct clinical trials for its HB0056 injection in New Zealand.
The approval was obtained from the New Zealand Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Authority and the Health and Disability Ethics Committee, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
HB0056 is indicated for the treatment of asthma.
Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceutical shares rose 2% in recent trade.
