RingCentral (RNG, Financials) announced its AI Assistant, powered by RingCentral AI, will be available in its RingEX suite at no extra charge.
Real-time call summaries, transcriptions, and automatic note-taking offered by the assistant help companies in many different sectors simplify their interactions.
With the AI Assistant, RingEX customersincluding those in legal, real estate, healthcare, financial services, and retail sectorsreported operational gains noting increased call engagement and meeting efficiency, RingCentral said.
RingCentral claims that 84% of these customers reported better phone interactions and 92% of them felt the AI note-taking was necessary.
Real-time transcribing and note summaries for conversations, translating for SMS and team communications, missed message summaries, and automated highlights for meetings are among the AI Assistant's capabilities. Along with real-time closed captions for calls and video conferences, it supports Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Additionally included in RingCentral's AI is a recap tool for missed group conversations, which lets customers catch up fast.
Operating on its secure communication infrastructure, RingCentral's AI Assistant interacts with calling, texting, and video conferences. RingEX clients in three levels will get access to this artificial intelligence capability starting in the United States. Early 2025 is when the rollout to other countries is scheduled.
