SIA Engineering (SGX:S59) recorded a profit attributable to owners of the parent of SG$68.8 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, higher than SG$59.3 million logged for the corresponding period last year, a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange said.
Earnings per share stood at SG$0.0610 for the reporting period, compared with SG$0.0526 recorded for the year-ago period.
The aerospace company's revenue for the first half of this fiscal year was SG$576.2 million, 12.1% higher than SG$514.0 million booked a year ago.
The board recommended an interim dividend of SG$0.02 per share for the reporting period, to be paid on Nov. 29 to the shareholders on record as of Nov. 13.
The company's shares were up nearly 2% on Tuesday's close.
