SolarBank (SUUN) said Tuesday it plans to develop a 3.1-megawatt solar power project called West Petpeswick in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
The solar power project, owned by AI Renewable, aligns with Nova Scotia's goals of 80% renewable energy by 2030 and net zero by 2035, SolarBank said.
This project is expected to power 290 homes, the company added.
