MW U.K. government cuts NatWest stake by GBP1 billion
The British government said Monday it's sold a stake in NatWest worth GBP1 billion ($1.29 billion). The sale - back to NatWest - reduced its stake to 11.4% from 14.2% and is being done at Friday's closing price of 380.80 pence per share. The government said it "will keep further disposal options under consideration when market conditions permit and it is value for money to do so."
