Huawen Media Group (SHE:000793) failed to pay bonds amounting to 252.5 million yuan on time, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange on Nov. 8.
The medium-term bonds were issued in 2017.
The financial media platform provider's total overdue debt reached 376.9 million yuan as of the date of the announcement.
The company's shares dropped more than 4% at the close.
