民生证券指出，中烟香港作为中烟海外资产整合平台，目前正在经历从烟叶贸易商往烟叶生产&卷烟生产过渡阶段，关注海外烟叶种植加工环节和海外卷烟生产环节的注入进度。该行指出，中烟香港承载中烟海外业务的重任，在全球新格局/新产品背景下，中烟香港或通过并购产能/渠道/品牌等资产，加速切入海外卷烟销售的有税市场。
安信国际认为，烟叶价格处于上升周期、卷烟出口的恢复性增长都给公司带来了增长动力。未来新型烟草业务的扩张，以及可能的收并购将成为潜在的增长引擎。国海证券则指出，公司作为中国烟草体系内唯一以烟草主业的上市公司，背靠坚实壁垒，该行认为公司出口业务产品结构的优化以及自营业务规模的提升将带动公司整体毛利率提升。
