BUZZ-Assured Guaranty rises after Q3 profit beats

** Insurer Assured Guaranty's AGO.N shares rise as much as 6.6%, last up 3% at $92.29

** Company on Monday posted Q3 adj profit of $2.42/shr, beating est of $1.35/shr - LSEG

** Assured Guaranty's insurance segment's adj operating income in Q3 jumped to $162 mln, driven by a favorable loss provision, from $59 mln a year earlier

** AGO offers municipal bond and financial guaranty insurance to infrastructure and structured financing sectors

** Company's Q3 U.S. public finance gross written premiums rose to $35 mln from $29 mln a year earlier

** As of last close, company's shares up 19.7% YTD
