智通财经APP获悉，近日，Flare Therapeutics宣布已与罗氏(RHHBY.US)达成战略发现合作。该合作将利用Flare Therapeutics的蛋白质组学和质谱平台及其专有的亲电化合物库，发现新型小分子药物以靶向肿瘤学中尚未成药的转录因子靶点。作为合作的一部分，Flare Therapeutics将获得7000万美元的预付款，并有资格获得可能超过18亿美元的发现、开发和商业化里程碑等款项。
合作项目中，Flare Therapeutics将领导针对肿瘤学中多个转录因子靶点的发现和临床前活动，而罗氏将利用其在肿瘤学领域的专业能力，进一步开展合作中潜在产品的临床前、临床开发和商业化活动。
据悉，Flare Therapeutics是一家专注于开发靶向转录因子药物的生物技术公司。自成立以来，Flare Therapeutics迅速建立其新兴项目管线，包含其主打项目FX-909，这是一种靶向PPARG、潜在"first-in-class"的口服小分子抑制剂。PPARG是晚期尿路上皮癌管腔谱系细胞的主要调节因子，FX-909目前正处于1期研究阶段。
