China's annual new energy vehicle production topped 10 million on Thursday, Xinhua News Agency reported the same day.
The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology marked the achievement during celebrations in Wuhan, the report said.
In 2023, China produced about 9.6 million NEVs and sold about the same number, according to Xinhua.
