消息面上，中教控股日前发盈警，预计截至2024年8月31日止财政年度将取得净利润约人民币4.20亿元至人民币5.90亿元，去年同期净利润约人民币15.41亿元。预计净利润的下降主要归因于四川省和陕西省部分现金产生单位(CGU)相关的商誉及无形资产可能发生减值损失。此外，澳大利亚针对国际学生的潜在政策变化也影响了澳大利亚一个CGU的业务前景，导致其商誉可能出现减值。
麦格理研报指出，公司预计2024财年(截至8月31日)纯利达4.29亿-5.9亿元人民币(下同)，意味着下半年度净亏损为5.98亿-7.68亿元，低于麦格理预测，同时也比2023财年下半年度5.05亿元纯利有所下降。花旗认为，四川和陕西资产的减值反映了内地市场状况的恶化，超出了管理层的预期。澳大利亚的减值尤其值得关注，这可能预示着公司国际扩张战略将面临政策逆风，尤其是在澳大利亚对国际学生政策收紧的背景下。
