1018 ET - The notion of a more lax regulatory landscape under a Trump administration could mean that big deals like Alimentation Couche-Tard's hot pursuit of 7-Eleven's parent are more possible and probable. Sylvain Charlebois, Professor of Agri-Food at Dalhousie University tells WSJ that a Trump administration will likely create a more friendly dealmaking environment geared towards M&A like Couche-Tard and Seven & i, or the Kroger-Albertsons bid.
