Avolta said it secured a contract with Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport in China for a range of retail and dining contracts.
The Swiss travel-retail group on Monday said the portfolio would consist of five Hudson retail locations, including two Hudson Market, two Hudson Evolve and a Hudson Cafe. Alongside those, Avolta will introduce two food and beverage outlets, it said.
The contract is effective from November through 20230, it said.
The initial phase of the rollout will see three of the travel convenience stores opening in November, followed by the other two retail stores and the food and beverage outlets in the first half of 2025, Avolta said.
Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport is expecting 60 million passenger in 2024, it said, citing figures from the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
