政府统计处昨日(18日)发表最新劳动人口统计数字，经季节性调整的失业率由今年7至9月的3%，上升至今年8至10月的3.1%，市场原预期维持3%。
大新金融集团首席经济及策略师温嘉炜预期，本港年底前失业率或继续维持在3%附近。本港跟随美国减息，加上内地推出多项刺激经济措施，或有助改善本地营商环境及稳定就业市场气氛，相信失业率短期内进一步上升的空间有限。
温嘉炜亦指，港府在施政报告中加大力度投资创科产业，中长线或有助推动相关行业人手需求，而各项输入人才计划的申请人陆续抵港，相信亦有助弥补部分行业劳动人口的供应。(js/k)
