Carnaby Resources (ASX:CNB) started a maiden eight-hole 1,000-meter drill program at the Pronuba prospect within the Greater Duchess copper-gold project in Queensland, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results from recent drilling at the project's Mohawk prospect yielded up to 10 meters at 2.2% copper and 0.3 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 142 meters within a larger envelope of 0.8% copper and 0.1 g/t gold from 130 meters, the filing added.
The company's shares were up more than 4% in recent Wednesday trade.
