China's medical products administrator granted Beijing Wantai Biological Pharmacy Enterprise (SHA:603392) clinical trial approval for its nine-valent human papillomavirus vaccine in males, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The vaccine is indicated for the prevention of genital warts, cancers of the penis, anus, and perineum, and pre-cancerous discharges, among others.
