This Australia-listed company could win big from Trump’s tariffs

Washington | The chief executive of an Australia-listed critical mineral producer says Donald Trump’s plan to raise tariffs on China would be a boon for his company, but reckons billionaire Elon Musk will try to head off a trade war between Washington and Beijing.

Former Tesla engineer Chris Burns, who helms Tennessee-based Novonix, said additional tariffs on critical minerals processed in China would make his company’s products more attractive to US buyers.
