Buckle recorded lower earnings in the third quarter as sales in its stores fell.
The casual-apparel and footwear retailer posted net income of $44.2 million, or 88 cents a share, for the quarter ended Nov. 2, compared with $51.8 million, or $1.05 a share, in the same period last year.
Sales decreased 3.2% to $293.6 million.
Comparable sales, which adjust for store openings and closings, were down 0.7%, while online sales were up 1.1%.
