Archer Materials (ASX:AXE) received the first tunnel magnetoresistance sensor prototypes from its foundry partner, MultiDimension Technology, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The sensors are designed for various applications, including data centers, automotive, medical devices, and consumer electronics.
The semiconductor company will conduct characterization of the prototypes with its Australian university research partner and engage with potential customers to gather feedback, the filing said.
Archer Materials shares fell nearly 7% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
