Wonderful Sky Financial Group Holdings (HKG:1260) expects a minimum profit after tax of HK$30 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, 10.7 times higher than HK$2.8 million logged for the same period last year, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The investment holding company attributed the expected increase to a gain on change in the fair value of financial assets at fair value through profit or loss and an increase in interest income from bank deposits during the reviewing period.
Shares of the company closed over 3% higher on Monday.
