Hong Kong Economic Times (HKG:0423) recorded a loss attributable to owners of HK$33.7 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, 66% wider than HK$20.3 million logged for the corresponding period last year, a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
Loss per share attributable to owners stood at HK$0.0781 for the reporting period, compared with HK$0.0470 recorded for the year-ago period.
The Hong Kong publisher's revenue for the six months under review was HK$407.7 million, 16% lower than HK$483.1 million booked a year ago.
The board recommended an interim dividend of HK$0.03 per share for the reporting period.
