29Metals (ASX:29M) said resource extension drilling at the Golden Grove mine in Western Australia intercepted high-grade copper mineralization about 100 meters below the existing Europa mineral resource estimates, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The drilling expands the potential mineralized area of Europa, with the zone remaining open down dip and along strike, the filing said.
The company plans to design additional drill holes to test for in-mine organic growth through the potential extension of the Europa mineral resource estimates, with the next update expected in the March quarter of 2025, according to the filing.
The company's shares were down over 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
