CUB Elecparts Chairman Receives Suspended Sentence from Taiwan Court Over Alleged Violation of Securities and Exchange Act; Shares Slump 8%

CUB Elecparts (TPE:2231) said its chairman, Yu San Chuan, received a suspended sentence in a first-instance judgment from the Changhua District Court in Taiwan.

Yu was prosecuted for alleged violations of the Securities and Exchange Act earlier this year, according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.

The electronic parts manufacturer assured that its operations, finances, and business remain unaffected by the ruling.

Shares of the company dropped over 8% recently.
