Oriental Enterprise Posts Lower Fiscal H1 Profit, Revenue; Shares Slip 4%

Oriental Enterprise Holdings (HKG:0018) reported a profit attributable to the owners of HK$25.1 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, compared with HK$30.7 million in the previous year, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share for the company were HK$0.0105, compared with HK$0.0128 in the prior-year period.

The company's revenue was HK$280.2 million, down from HK$312.1 million in the previous year.

The board resolved to pay a final dividend of HK$0.03 per share and a special dividend of HK$0.03 per share for the reporting period.

The company's shares were down almost 4% in the recent trading.
