BlockBeats 消息，12 月 4 日，据路透社报道，加密借贷平台 Celsius Network 创始人兼前 CEO Alex Mashinsky 周二对两项欺诈指控认罪。
现年 59 岁的 Mashinsky 于 2023 年 7 月 13 日因七项欺诈、共谋和市场操纵指控被起诉。曼哈顿的联邦检察官表示，他误导 Celsius 的客户，诱使他们投资，并人为地抬高了公司自有加密代币的价值。他当天对这些指控表示不认罪。
Mashinsky 在周二的听证会上表示，他对最初被指控的七项罪名中的两项认罪：商品欺诈和操纵 CEL（Celsius 代币）价格的欺诈计划。
在法庭上，Mashinsky 承认，在 2021 年的一次采访中，他向 Celsius 客户提供了“虚假的安慰”，称 Celsius 已经获得监管机构批准其“Earn”计划，而实际上并未获得批准。该计划承诺将客户的加密资产用于产生投资回报。
