Fluence Secures Clearance to Proceed with Addendum Works at Ivory Coast Water Treatment Plant; Shares Up 3%

Fluence (ASX:FLC) obtained the notice to proceed from Office National de l'Eau Potable, the Ivory Coast national drinking water organization, regarding the addendum to its contract for the Lagune D'Aghien water treatment plant construction, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The notice allows the company to start the addendum works, worth 48.4 million euros, for increased water distribution from the plant to Abidjan, the filing said.

The water and wastewater treatment company's shares rose nearly 3% in afternoon trade Wednesday.
