Sandstorm Gold (SSL.TO) traded 0.9% lower at last look in NYSE premarket trading as it provided Wednesday exploration advancements on certain assets from its stream and royalty portfolio.
The company noted additional high-grade intercepts at Lundin Gold (LUG.TO) Fruta del Norte gold mine in Ecuador, where it holds a 0.9% net smelter royalty (NSR) on the precious metals produced from the property.
Sandstorm also mentioned Allied Gold (AAUC.TO)'s drilling efforts to upgrade the resource at the Bonikro mine in Cote d'Ivoire, where Sandstorm has a streaming agreement ranging from 3.5% to 6%.
At Awale Resources (ARIC.V)'s Odienne project in Cote d'Ivoire, Sandstorm said latest drill results confirmed high-grade gold mineralization. Sandstorm holds a 2.0% NSR on the project.
Troilus Gold (TLG.TO) has also advanced its project financing efforts, securing letters of intent from Export Development Canada and three major European export credit agencies for a combined total of up to $1.3 billion to advance the Troilus copper-gold project in Quebec. Sandstorm owns a 1.0% NSR on the project.
