Energy stocks were leaning lower pre-bell Monday as the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) slightly declined recently.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was up 0.7% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 3.6% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was 1.4% higher at $68.93 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 1.2% to $72.71 per barrel, and natural gas futures were down 5% at $3.21 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
BW LPG (BWLP) shares were down more than 1% after the company reported a decline in Q3 earnings.
Innovex International (INVX) said it has completed the acquisition of the remaining equity stake of Downhole Well Solutions. Innovex International shares were 0.2% lower premarket.
