Empyrean Technology (SHE:301269) said it "strictly abides by international business practices" following it and subsidiaries' addition to the US Commerce Department's Entity List, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse
On Monday, the US launched new export restrictions against China's semiconductor industry, adding 140 companies into its trade blacklist.
Empyrean Technology said it will follow up on the development of subsequent events and "further analyze and evaluate the potential impact" on the software company.
Shares of the company rose 4% in recent trade.
