Electrical equipment manufacturer XJ Electric (SHE:000400) said its subsidiary, XJ International Electric Development Beijing, changed its name to Beijing Panzhi Electric, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The name change comes with a change in business scope, which includes the manufacturing of transformers, rectifiers and inductors, switch control equipment, and intelligent instruments and meters.
Shares of XJ Electric rose nearly 4% in recent trade.
