Avolta said it won contracts to develop retail, food and beverage concessions for more than 11 years at Terminal 8 of John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City.
The Switzerland-based travel retailer said these newest contracts add to one it clinched last week to operate duty-free and other retail stores in Terminal 6 of the same airport.
Combined, the contracts covering both terminals will correspond to an around 3% increase to the company's revenue in the region, once fully developed, Avolta said.
Terminal 8 is projected to have more than 7 million plane boardings next year, with international customers projected to account for 64% of the total, the company added.
