Mid-America Apartment Communities Appoints Bradley Hill as CEO; Increases Quarterly Dividend

Mid-America Apartment Communities (MAA) said late Tuesday it has appointed Bradley Hill as chief executive, effective April 1 and its board raised the quarterly dividend by 3.1% to $1.515 a share.

Hill, currently serving as the company's president and chief investment officer, will succeed Eric Bolton Jr., who is retiring as CEO and will become executive chairman, Mid-America Apartment said.

Meanwhile, the dividend is payable on Jan. 31 to shareholders of record on Jan. 15, the company said in a separate statement.
