Newmont (NEM) laid off at least two dozen corporate employees to reduce costs, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The latest layoffs impacted the sustainability division and other recently merged teams and included positions with general manager and director titles, the people reportedly said.

The cuts are in addition to the previously reported reduction of at least 10 senior managers and an executive, according to the news outlet.

Newmont did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
